As a general rule, most basic text conversions* are about 50¢ per 1000 characters. *Basic text with no special characters and little or no formatting output to a text/ascii or word processing file.

Materials scanned for database files are more complex and usually are priced on a per page basis. For instance a listing that contains information such as name, address, city line, phone, fax, company, title, etc. may be scanned into individual fields for a database and/or further parsed into first name, last name, middle initial for the name and city, state, zip, country for the cityline or whatever your project requires.

We suggest you send us a representative sample of the materials to be scanned. We will provide, via email, the output of the sample in the digital format of your choice with a firm quote. You owe nothing.
